If you’ve been to the park recently you will have noticed the blossom tree by the hut blooming marvellously. However, lurking just behind this beautiful picture postcard is a tangle of overgrown ivy blocking the views down to the canal.
We need your help! There is a community gardening day on Saturday 25th April, 11am-2pm.
Under the watchful eye of some experienced green fingers the ivy will be cut back and some plants and bulbs, generously provided by the Angel Association, will planted to cheer up the dreary looking flower bed nearby.
All are welcome and even a short visit getting your hands dirty will make a difference!
Free refreshments will be available for volunteers.
